Well GASFEST is now over but from the post event
reaction on the Guitarist Forum it was thoroughly enjoyed by all
those who attended on February 8th in Bristol. The event was conceived by Siān Evans who put an
enormous amount of time and energy into making it enjoyable
for all those who attended - thanks Siān.
Thanks must also be extended to Simon Bradley who
brought a van full of gear and acted as an excellent MC for the
night, good old Ben Bartlett who was a part-time soundman, cleaner
of Bradders guitars and an excellent Vai impressionist, and
Innes Sibun the
guest guitarist for his excellent performance. Thanks also to Mike
de Jager who supplied the PA system and to anyone else I forgot.
I enjoyed meeting everyone,
listening to the music and seeing some really great guitar players -
thanks to one and all.
